ODESSA NATIONAL MARITIME ACADEMY (ONMA)
About 8000 cadets and students study at Odesa National Maritime Academy (ONMA). The annual graduation is about 1000 specialists.
The Academy was accredited by the State Accreditation Board of Ukraine with accreditation level IV (the highest). The specialities of automation, ships’ engineering, electromechanical and radio-electronic faculties were accredited by the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology of Great Britain (IMarEST) with the “charter engineer”, – the highest level, and the faculty of Navigation was accredited by the Nautical Institute of Great Britain (NI).

KHERSON STATE MARITIME ACADEMY (KSMA)
Kherson State Maritime Academy is a higher educational institution of the IV accreditation level, which trains professionals of the full range of seagoing, ship building and maritime working specialties.
The high knowledge level of cadets of the Academy and its structural subdivisions is reached due to laborious work of more than 400 academic professionals and lecturers: doctors and candidates of sciences, professors, associate professors, acting maritime professionals – masters, chief officers, chief engineers, electrical engineers etc. One should not forget also about the technical equipment of laboratories and classrooms, without which it would have been practically impossible to reach the appropriate level of cadets’ training.

The educational and training center “ALFA-TRAINING” is a modern educational and training center which provides training, advanced training, skills improvement and attestation of seafarers in accordance with the latest requirements of the International convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping of Seafarers-78/10, as well as educational preparation for competence exam at the state qualifying commissions of Inspectorate for Training and Certification of Seafarers at the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
